The Hearth Institute is a collective of leaders (scientists, philosophers, educators, artists, and entrepreneurs) who believe that it’s time to do new things in new ways.
We are new a 501(c)(3) based in Taos, New Mexico about to launch courses, workshops, and retreats to help individuals and communities navigate personal and organizational transformation in these epic times.
Anytime you buy Bree's books, attend her workshops, or have her speak at your event, a portion of the proceeds help build and tend the Hearth.

Eighty acres of awe-inspiring land outside of Taos, NM
The Hearth is directly adjacent to the Rio Grande National Monument. Step into miles of sage and piñon pine and commune with desert lizards, big horn sheep, golden eagles, and expansive sky. A short stroll on our nature trail brings you to the rim of the Rio Grande.
An extraordinary state-of-the-art telescope observatory
Located in true Dark Sky country, we have a professional, university-caliber telescope observatory. We’re over the moon about offering folks the opportunity to interact with the cosmos through astronomy and astrophotography.
A one-of-a-kind, off-grid retreat house
Our headquarters boasts solar for power, rain-catchment for water, passive solar for heat, and all the other green-building goodies. This is command center for our voyage and launch point for our new community center.
Groundbreaking community center
We are breaking ground on a new teaching and retreat space, which will offer endless possibilities to bring people together to learn about earth, river, and sky. We'd love to host you for an event on our land.
